Strategy Deployment Readiness
Assessment
BUSINESS LEADERS RECOGNIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF STRATEGIC PLANNING, but many experience difficulty when
translating their strategies into business results. A common
misconception is that a well-defined business strategy will
implement itself.
No matter how well
conceived by senior management, business strategy becomes ineffective
when colleagues misinterpret it, block it, or simply do not understand
how to act on it. We believe that your strategy can be made
operational by investing in and developing the process capabilities that
lead to market differentiation and competitive advantage.
This survey is designed to
address your organization’s ability to achieve the aspects of the
business strategy associated with processes. It is not designed to
evaluate the quality or appropriateness of its strategic plan. This
strategy deployment readiness diagnostic focuses on the characteristics
and attributes necessary for successfully implementing the process-based
elements of a business strategy. While no single characteristic provides
assurance that strategic objectives will be achieved, there are several
organizational dimensions that can have a major impact on (and serve as
predictive indicators to) the likelihood that a business can achieve its
the strategic objectives which can be significantly impacted by process.
By understanding and measuring these dimensions, a business can identify
and address issues and barriers that prevent elements of a good strategy
from being achieved.
